Yeast Scientifically known as Sacchromyces Cerevisiae has been the most commonly used species in Aquaculture. Yeast cultures are not only fed as a source of liver or viable yeast cells but also as a nutrient supplement to provide undefined fermentative factors that are recognised to stimulate growth.
